Steph is a HCPC registered, Chartered Physiotherapist, and has been working as a Physiotherapist since 2012. She started her career in the NHS as a rotational Physiotherapist gaining knowledge in a wide range of conditions including Respiratory, Trauma and Orthopaedics, General Medicine and Musculoskeletal Outpatients. From the NHS she moved into the Private Sector working in Orthopaedics/Musculoskeletal care where she worked her way up to Team Lead of an Inpatient Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation unit in Reading. She also gained sports physiotherapy knowledge during pitch side care and injury rehabilitation , whilst working with a South West Division Rugby club. In 2018 she travelled with the Reading Abbey Ladies RFC to their first international fixture.
Steph loves being able to combine her specialist knowledge from a clinical setting and using those skills to help treat clients in their own home.
"There is something so wonderful about treating patients in their home, helping them to achieve what may appear to be simple, small goals that will make their life so much better. It is a true privilege and something that you cannot do from a clinic because those special individuals cannot see you there. It also allows me to see individuals of all ages and presentations, and the variety brings a wonderful challenge and thirst for constant learning".
